Anyone had this fault aircon not working but lights working on control panel fan not kicking in for ac seems to be gas in ac unit and I'm getting this code 262914-Refrigerant Pressure Too Low

Well the facts are that all AC gas systems in cars and some other systems, have flexible pipe runs and seals on the compressor and all other metal pipe joining points, so a small amount of R134A will transfer across the sealing material and flexible pipes, which will always lead to these systems "running short" of gas and so need evacuated, pressure tested, vac'd out then back filled with the correct weight of R134A and maybe a small quantity of PAG oil.

What age is your car and if over 5 years old, has it ever had its AC system checked for gas charge?
