Hi,

Just got a 6n2 GTI and looking for a little bit more power for cheap. New to this so anyone got any recommendations or tips on how to get a bit more?

Give it a service and check the belts.

The GTi is not an engine that allows a lot of extra performance to be extracted easily, enjoy what you have and welcome

Better flowing manifold, better flowing exhaust, decent oil, decent tyres, good flowing air filter, perhaps enclosed induction kit. Suspension upgrades, bush upgrades, prepare for new gearbox Better fuel pump.
Then remap.
