Polo 2008 1.4 Electric Windows switch

Hi there all hoping someone on here can help me regarding my electric windows on my Polo 2008 1.4 every time we have rain the button for the passenger window ( Drivers side) doesn't work and then all of a a sudden the passenger window will open on it's own and can only be closed by the button on the passenger side, when the weather is nice ( which i know is not a lot in the UK lol ) the buttons work on my side ( drivers ) any help or info would be very much appreciated thanks in advance
