Hi,

I have just bought a used Polo 6C car that doesn't have any reverse camera. I called the VW maintenance service and they said it is impossible to install to my car. I am wondering if I can buy and do the installation of some of (Chinese) reverse camera by myself?

From universal backup cameras I have installed this one on my car.

The shop also has cameras specific to cars and they have good service. My camera got water damaged after 8 months and they replaced it free of charge under warranty.

They use cameras with metal casing and glass lenses and with 5 usd extra you can opt for a better voltage regulator.

Thank you for your recommendation. I'm kind of beginner here so I am wondering if they have a good installation instruction or support?

I really don't know, it comes down to the camera you are going to use and the type of the head unit you have.

The product description usually contains the installation diagram. They were helpful with the issue I had, but I don't know what experience they have with every single car.
