Buying Polo GTI 9N3

Hi guys, im new here. Im from czech republic and i want buy used vw polo gti 9n3. In my country isnt info about this car.
I have in history Skoda Fabia Combi 2006 with 1,4 tdi 59 kw. I had it 10 years. I loved this car, it was my first car.
Now i have VW Polo 6N with 1,9 diesel. Its car for fun, i make fake harlekin with Montana spray.
Now I want some faster car, so there is Polo GTI.
I was reading some forum here in englamd and I think its good car with no hardly problem. I think only 2006 have some problem with synchron on gearbox.
Do you know about other big problem with this model and engine?
