Head Unit without Apps or SatNav

Hello,
I have a 2017 Polo GTI 6C and I've been wondering since I got it why there was no Apps on the head unit, no sat nav etc.
Headunit has CAR button instead of APPS
Under system information I have:
Device part number: 6C0035869F
Hardware: 050
Can I update the software to activate Android Car? Or do I have to change the headunit? Can I retrofit a Discover Media Pro?
Also It didn't come with reverse camera or parking sensors... A reverse camera would be nice tho... Any chance I can install one?
