Warm-up engine system

I have Polo from 1999 (I've bought it 1 month ago). I discovered that this model has warm-up engine system (it is called Webasto). And that's all. Previous owner didn't use it and doesn't know anything about it. So I have steering panel (timer) and my mechanic told me there is special device in the engine compartment. I have no idea where I should connect this steering panel - it has 4 pin plug-in on the other side. I attached the photos of the steering panel and the front of interior. I'd be grateful for any idea where I should be looking for "socket" for steering panel (timer) (I attached second photo to indicate the location). I was looking for it a long time but nothing is visible. Maybe it is hidden somewhere. Maybe I need something more to connect it ?? Thanks in advance
