Hi guys,
I'm trying to understand which oil to get for my VW Polo 1.2 petrol and I'm getting slightly confused.
I've come across a post that recommended using the Castor Edge 5W-30 fully synthetic, however, they don't sell it in a smaller bottle so I'd rather not get that one.
Would anyone be able to confirm whether the CASTROL Magnatec, Stop-Start A3/B4 Engine Oil 5W-30 would work just fine?

Euro Car Parts sell the 1ltr bottle and you can get for half price regularly when on offer. That's what I am getting after just having my service done.

Maybe consider that the OP is not UK based, in which case they need to check that any oil they use is VW 504 compliant - is that Magnatec oil VW 504 compliant?

Edit:- and the answer is NO, it is only VW 502 compliant, so check some other oils available in your area, if you can get Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 in 1ltr bottles, that will be okay as it is VW 504 compliant.
