Differential pressure sensor fault - HELP PLEASE?

My Polo 1.6 TDI’s engine light came up yesterday and after checking it on a cheap diagnostic machine, it’s shown the differential pressure sensor fault. My car has had a DPF delete and I also got it remapped yesterday so is it possible that the DPF has not been mapped out of the ECU properly? Or is this sensor irrelevant to a DPF delete and simply needs replacing? Any help will be much appreciated.

It depends on the tune your car has.
If it's written out, you're fine.
If it's re-calibrated to 0 mbar differential pressure, you still need the sensor to work.
I suspect you're the latter case, so get a new sensor and you're good to go.

I took it back to the tuner and he said he’s mapped it out now and the light should not come up. Am I going to have any potential problems if I actually did need to replace this sensor and he’s just mapped out the fault code?

An update - although the lights not on anymore, my fuel consumption has gone a lot worse after this stage 1 remap. I was previously getting 47 mpg locally however I am now getting 38mpg. I haven’t been driving it any different to how I was before. Could this be related to the P2453 fault i had after the remap or does my car have a different problem?
