Hi all,

I'm doing an engine conversion to stick a 1.6 16v GTi 6n2 engine into my 1.4 8v 6n1 (1996). I've got a doner car so have all the bits.

does anyone have a wiring diagram or does anyone know what needs to be done for this conversion?
I want to keep the original dashboard and I'm assuming I need to change the clocks too.

Have you had any luck mate, I'm doing the same and I have engine and original loom out and ran in the GTI loom, but not sure of my next move. Do I do a hybrid of the looms, or try run the GTI interior loom

Planning on doing the same here, wonder if there's a list out here somewhere that shows exactly what is neccisary for this conversion to be succesfull
