Hi I've got a polo 1.2tsi , after my last mot my car steer's horribly . I can feel every bump through the steering wheel + bumps make it move side to side .
Any ideas ?

Have you checked the tyre pressures?

Yes checked that and had wheel alignment done with no joy

It’s interesting that it’s after an MoT.

I assume the test centre used a lift to look at the underside. If it was a body lift the suspension will have reached full droop which may have been the final straw for one or more of the shock absorbers, alternatively one of the spring mounts may have become dislodged or misaligned. I’m assuming you’ve checked for a broken spring.

I hope you can sort it without too much outlay, running a car these days is expensive enough without that sort of problem.
