Hi,
I am considering investing in a new exhaust system for my 6C GTI and would like to know from people who have them fitted , what you have or what you would like to have. I would like to awaken the GTI with a sporty sound not awaken the whole street

1 - fitment ,did it or didn’t it fit correctly
2 - quality
3 - increased power ?

Comments appreciated

I use the Supersprint "Sport pack" for my VW POLO 6C GTI. This kit uses a centre pipe (muffler deleted) giving a louder sound-stage. But if you want you can get the centre exhaust with the muffler instead.

I like the sound with the "Sport pack". It gives more involving driving experience without risking to lose you driving license... This because there is a great increase in sound already at 2800 rpm (this seems to be the resonance frequency for the exhaust system) there is not need to push that throttle so hard to get some fun sound. In the beginning I found this sound increase somewhat annoying because I used to accelerate more heavy footed... But after a while I adapted and now I see this as an "bonus" or a feature for this exhaust.

Highway cruising at 125km/h and lower is fine. But when the rpm reaches around 2800 rpm and the engine is under load, the sound level in car might not be so comfortable when driving longer distances. If you are driving a lot on highway (at higher speeds) you should consider getting the centre exhaust with the muffler. I assume this muffler decrease the resonance and therefore gives an more pleasant experience.

Fitment was excellent. Can be a tiny power increase at top rpm. And perhaps there was less tongue at lowest rpm, not so much that this is an problem for me.
