where to run DSG wire from MFSW harness

Good afternoon,

Upon inspection of the Golf steering wheel airbag harness i have i notice there are a total of 7 pins (live pin slots) , on my polo's slip ring i only see 6 pins.

I know that the 2 top pins are for the Airbag, and the first 2 of the bottom row are ground and horn, and the next 3 i assume are 1 for 12v, 1 for the Multi functional buttons and i think the last one (Pin 7) is for the DSG paddles wire.

However i see most clock springs only have 6 pins and this has 7 pins, so i want to know with regards to the 7th pin which im assuming is the DSG wire, where do i run it?
To the BCM?
If so which pin location on the BCM>

Thank you.

Your help is appreciated.

No. The dsg doesn't have a separate wire. The dsg signals are transferred by the LIN wire. That's the same wire as the mfsw signals.

There are the following possible wires to a golf 7 mfsw
Airbag positive
Airbag negative
+12v for mfsw module
GND for mfsw module
Horn
Cruise control
LIN bus

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, the wheel i have has the ACC option, I was hoping thats what the extra wire was for, after spending hours of research i found a forum saying the extra wire was DSG (Audi forum) thats why i though it was.
However,
Glad that the DSG wire is integrated with the MFSW wire, that helps me stress less, thank you very much, some relief as i thought i had to change the clock spring.

With regards to the lin bus wire, my BCM is missing the pin 13 and 17 on block C of my BCM, i have pin 14 and 15 on block C being Lin bus 1 and lin bus 2 (If i remember correctly), i dont care about the MFSW buttons (Media buttons) im more interested in getting the paddles to work only, do you think running the lin bus wire to terminal 14/15 would at least activate just the steering wheel paddles? Or would i need to tap into pin 13.

Thanks again for the help.

I'm no expert on the 6C but I do think that it must be T73c/13
