2017 Polo GTI, creaking steering at low speed

Hi all,
New member, had a 2017 polo GTI for around 18 months, it’s been faultless. Now has 30k on it.
However I now have a slight creaking from what seems like the passenger front wheel, only really noticeable then manoeuvring at really low speed (parking it usually). It’s there from cold and stays there even when the cars warmed up. No other knocking or creaking any other time.
Recently passenger front wheel was kerbed to and we can’t be sure this was there before this happened or not.
I’ve got both front wheels in the air and check for pay in the wheel in all directions but can’t find any.
It doesn’t creak in the air as you’d expect without weight on it
Any ideas? I’m thinking strut top or drop link maybe
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
