Hi guys,

I've got a 03 9N1 Polo 1.4L Petrol. It has a Engine Management Light on giving the code P0444 Evap Emission on system purge control Valve Circuit Open. I've tried wiping which works for roughly 5-10 seconds once car is started. I've replaced the solenoid/ Purge valve with two from a local breakers and wiped the code each time but it still came back. Any ideas on what it could be?

Well it could be a wiring problem ie not pulsing the valve, or the pipe from the tank is blocked/collapsed or the carbon canister is choked.

Ok ill check all them out, it's just a pain cause the car runs 100%. Where do the wires go I've tried to find a wiring diagram but have had no luck.
