Issue with folding mirrors.

Hey guys,
Recently bought a 2015 Polo GTI, love it to bits already. One issue I am having is that the mirror won't/don't fold in when I lock the car.
In settings I have the option ticked for them to fold in when I lock the car, but they don't. I have tried deselecting and then selecting and reseting the mirror settings, but nothing has worked so far.
Wondering if there is a solution to this? Is it is something a vcds coding would fix or have I got myself some faulty mirror motors?
Any suggestion would be great and thanks in advance!
Sam.

Does your car actually have power folding mirrors? The mirror adjustment switch should have 5 icons (L R heat fold and 0).

That was a thought I had, because it does not have that folding mirror position/option on the stalk, but it does have the setting in settings for them to fold. strange.

When the 6c facelift Polo was launched in 2014, folding mirrors were available as a stand alone option. At some point later on, I think these were packaged together with other options into the Convenience Pack, which comprised automatic dimming interior rear-view mirror, automatic headlights on with coming/leaving home lighting function and a rain sensor and electrically foldable door mirrors. When I ordered my GTI in Oct 2915, I’m pretty certain the stand alone folding mirror option was no longer available - you could only get them as part of the Convenience Pack.
As iichel has said, if you’ve got folding mirrors, the mirror adjustment control near the interior driver’s door handle will have 5 symbols on it. If you’ve got folding mirrors as part of the Convenience Pack but folding function isn’t working, you can check to see if you’ve got the other features of the pack - e.g. the auto dimming screen mounted rear view mirror doesn’t have the manual toggle on the bottom of the mirror housing to dip the mirror that the manual mirror has.
The Convenience Pack was an extra cost option on the Polo Beats, SEL, R-Line, BlueGT and GTI and surprisingly, standard on just the the Match Edition model.
