6R Easy Retrofits

Hi All!
Just picked up a completely base spec 6R with the 59hp 1.2 3cyl as my first car. I want to do some little things to bring it a little further up the range in terms of spec & options, so I figured I'd ask you guys if there are any "quick wins" so to speak - easy upgrades to the car's interior or exterior that will add value or features.

So far, I've bought a RCD310 to replace the standard RCD210 so I can have Bluetooth. Eventually, I'll get the AUX cable for this as well, as it's blanked off on my car. I'm also in the process of replacing the matt black mirror caps with gloss red to match the paintwork - I'm keeping an eye out for red door handles too, so they'll all match up. The previous owner swapped on a set of factory Polo alloys, which I'm happy with.

Long term, I'd love to swap in a 6R GTI interior, and maybe some of the 6C bumpers and lights (although I've read that the front lights can be a bit tricky to update), and fit an RCD330 with Android Auto.

BY FAR the biggest thing I want to do is replace the factory central locking with remote central locking, as it's a pain having to physically unlock the door when you just want to get to the boot. The only problem is I want to be able to do all the standard VW stuff, like lower the windows from the key fob etc - might be tricky, so advice would be very welcome.

So... any suggestions of QOL modifications I could make? TIA
-Dishwasher

Remote locking from keyfob depends on your BCM, you will need a 434 mhz remote key id 48.
Lowering windows from key, can be done via coding.

For BCM you need 6R0937086x as a minimum. If you have a 6R0937085x it will not work.

Ah okay, so I'd have to swap out the whole BCM to get remote central locking?

If you want it like-factory, yes. There are aftermarket alternatives though but I'm not famaliar with them.
