Anyone know how to unlock the radio or where to find the code to do so
I can't find anything in the manual

I read somewhere that you need to leave it unplugged for some time then come back to it plug it back in and then switch the ignition on and it should display LEARN and pick it up from the ECU

I your car a 6R or 6C?

6C will have component protection, other model need a code, its normally in the service book, else you will have to call VW to send a code.
