DSG Gearknob

Can any please help me..I have a 6r polo Gti DSG and the centre leather piece on the gear knob is worn an I want to replace it..can I use one from any Vw DSG gear knob or has it got to be a polo one...my friend has mk6 golf Gti DSG and his gearknob looks the same....thanks
