I qas wondering if anyone has been able to successful retrofit a polo gti armrest and if so where did they get the armrest from? And how easy was it to do?

I had to take mine out when i lost SD card in middle tunel It wasn't hard. Like 4 bolts and it was out

That ebay link seems to be for a Seat armrest
Of course every possibility it's the same, would you have the VW part number?
I don't suppose it makes a difference, but it's a 2020 Gti I have.

I managed to suss out the VW part number is 6F0864207 for the armrest and 6F0863289 for the cover plate at the back.
When I search for these part numbers, I keep being referred to Seat part number 6F0061123.
Seat forums cross reference the numbers, so does ebay etc.
Does anyone know if they're the same for sure?

I've ordered the Seat one, the website advises it also fits the AW Polo.
It's an Austrian VW dealer, cost was EUR181.10
It appears to be a complete kit, so I'm assuming for now that the 'cover plate' at the back is included, time will tell.
EDIT - the Austrian seller confirms (with photo) that's it a complete assembly
If it fits I'll be chuffed for EUR181

Armrest has arrived from Austria today.
Will try and remember to take some photos when fitting it tonight.

Here we go, absolute doddle to fit as per the YouTube video very kindly posted above and very good instructions in the box.
Forgot to take photos as I went along, but here’s the finished product and for 180 euros I’m delighted.
