guys, need your advice, service coming up, local VW dealership has quoted me nearly £300 for a 40k mile service which I think is crazy.

anyone know where I can get it done for a decent price in the south east?

its a mk5 2000, 1.4 16v (75bhp) if that makes a difference.

that is pricey!
my 20,000 mile service recently cost me 217 quid altogether which was outrageous considering the car came out sounding worse
but its the all important vw stamp that counts for a FVWSH
on the subject of the south-east prices hasnt the fuel gone up alot recently
