Hi all, I've installed lcr brembos on my 6c gti. Pressure bled the brakes with dot 4 fluid going front to back. But afterwards the pedal is long and goes to the floor. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Iirc you should start with the caliper furthest away from the reservoir and then do the next furthest etc.
Always make sure there is enough fluid in the reservoir and bleed the abs block with vcds.
It's very tricky. No leaks?

when i fitted mine i just made sure i topped up the reservoir before fitting a quickly changed them and just let the fluid drain out.
then just bled the rear caliper half first then the front one.

Thanks both, I'll double check for leaks tomorrow. I have obdeleven. What's the procedure when using vcds/obd11?

I've read of people, when fitting different callipers, placing the new callipers on top of the discs, slip a piece of wood in where the disc would sit and while making sure that the vent valves are at the highest point, start bleeding. That should normally only be a problem where the new callipers normally got fitted in an other orientation, so now the bleed valve is not in the best position when fitted to this car.
Edit:- VCDS or at least the company, Rosstech, have online resources to help with finding where this functionality for bleeding the ABS block is - I'd expect OBDeleven to also have suitable online resources to assist in using it.
