Subframe compatibility

Hey everyone, I'm new here and Im hoping to get some help.
I picked up a 6n1 polo coupe with a 1.4L that has a cracked subframe. Tomorrow I'm going to get a complete parts car that's also a 6n1 4 door with a 1.6L engine. Will the subframe from the 1.6 work on the 1.4 ? I'm thinking yes but I just want to make sure!
