Has anyone managed to track down a set of spring-loaded boot struts to fit the Polo AW? Video below is what I had in mind on remote button press:

Don’t quote me one this but I don’t think they are available for the polo aw, I’ve yet to see them fitted to one.

Must be able to be retrofitted, can’t see the Golf tailgate being too dissimilar to the Polo tbh... MJ

I’ve not seen anyone with these on a current model Polo.

IMO they’d be fine, provided you don’t park anywhere with height restrictions that could result in tailgate damage if you inadvertently press the tailgate button on the key fob without remembering about the height restriction .
