We’ve had a couple of VW Golf tdi cars but when the last one gave up we got a 2013 Polo 1.4 Match.
Must say I’m mostly impressed, I do a 60 mile a day commute and am averaging 50mpg, the Golf tdi was averaging about 55mpg.
I’ll add that I sit at 60mph with the cruise control on and It’s almost all dual carriageway.
My only concern is the car doesn’t feel planted on the road, the steering feels a bit vague around the straight ahead position.
