20004 1.2 polo not starting

My. Mother has had this car from new and been stood for a while
Attached it with jump leads to other car and tried to start it. Turns over but does not start. Checked all the fuses i could see that would be relevant and non have blown
Can’t see anything on the odometer but other lights come on the dash come on and go off
The radio and interior light dont work. Horn, lights, blower. Etc work
Not showing anything wrong with immobiliser as the ‘car’ light on the dashboard goes off.
Does anyone have any ideas, am sure. I am getting fuel.
