Swap bootlid/tailgate

Hi folks I've a polo 05 1.4 TDI 5 door. I did not take out glass cover and someone's smashed back window right in. Ivepatched up and checked autoglass etc my insurance to see bu I think I'd be cheaper swaping tailgate from one from a scrsppie , is it relatively easy to remove be with wires etc
