Hi all ,

We have replaced the abs module on our vw polo 6r 1.2 2010. Although we know the fault has cleared ,we do not have a long code for it.

Can we re fit the old unit and obtain a code to rewrite to the replacement module although don’t fancy stripping it down again or is it lost forever?

That being the case can anyone who has the knowledge provide a code for the module.

I know you have a vcds interface so I'm going to need a full and unedited scan including the vin to calculate your coding. Otherwise the abs and esp system will not work.

Thanks, my problem is I only have the printed version now, I could email it to you. Otherwise I will have to get it scanned again.

My question is ,

If we refit the original module to the connector without refitting the brake lines and scan it again, will the code reappear ?
