Square Box on Dash, don't know what it is.

Hi all.
Picked up a BlueGT Today and driving home noticed a black box on the dashboard, can anyone tell me what it is? Thanks!

Non factory probably a gps antena

I’d ask the place / person you bought the car from what it is. It’s certainly something that’s been fitted aftermarket.

As Amer6R suggested, it's a gps antenna. It looks identical to the one in my car, which has the Garmin/Kenwood GVN60 aftermarket system, which used to be offered by VW.
