Car wont start fan runs for a long time after engine off!!

I need help here new to this forum .
my car wont start replaced the battery was working fine then dead the next day something is drawing power. I noticed as well when i connected the battery the fan came on straight away so I'm assuming this could be my issue maybe a switch/sensor.
any advice would be very helpful
