Hi, does anyone know the maximum torque limit of the OEM clutch in the 1.4 Tsi act MT? I know the car puts out 250Nm, but is the clutch at its limit with this output?

Thanks, I thought the gearbox was the MQ350, but I’m wondering if the clutch is rated the same or if it’s the same clutch used in the 1.8 gti manual?

The 1.8 clutch isn't great as i believe it is fairly close to it's maximum torque with the stock tune (mine started slipping on stock power) I'm guessing it was designed to sacrifice it's self to protect the gearbox.
I've pushed over 500Nm through the box and it's just ok.

So if the 1.8 gti manual is 320Nm, and I planned to remap my 1.4 to 300-310Nm, it should be ok...?

If it does use the same clutch as the 1.8 I'd say you will be ok.
