Hi, I just recently changed out my infotainment system on my 2017 Polo GTI and it doesn't have a TPMS on it. I also don't have a TPMS button in the glovebox. Does anybody else hagve a 3rd party infotainment system and found out a way to set the tyre pressures?
(I changed the infotainment system so I could have android auto)

i hope that 3rd party system was less than £400 as you could of got a genuine unlocked unit for your car for that amount and kept all of the stock features

i'm guessing it uses the canbus to communicate with the abs controller so i think you may have to fit a direct button to the abs controller and alter the coding of it.

Yes was less than £400, wouldn't have got it otherwise😅 althoufh I did speak to a VW specialist garage (2 in fact) and they stated as I didn't have the top end infotainment system they couldnt activate Android auto etc on it so had to go 3rd party, not sure how accurate that was but its done now anyway. Yes it does use that, any recommendations for where i could buy one? Or are they just available on amazon/ebay etc?

https://northeastvagadaptions.co.uk/col ... pp-connect this is a complete unit so would of upgraded the unit and enabled app connect.

Not looked into getting tpms reset switch but i guess the 6r switches may fit in the holes in the glovebox and just need wiring back to the abs controller.

Thanks for the help! Might have to have a look at changing infotainment back to upgraded version of original for easier longterm, but will see if a garage can just get rid of the light for a short term fix unless I can get the TPMS button installed :)
