Looking to see if anyone can link me some w5w led lamps. That are canbus error free without fitting in line resistors? Dont fancy messing about with them. Tried a couple led lamps but threw up error codes.
Want to get good leds on that part do the car as I'm planning to get some 3d gel plates.

The car expects an incandescent bulb, which draws a lot more current than an LED. There are two ways to get around this, you either make the LED draw more current (by adding a resistor, very dangerous if done incorrectly), or you change the type of load of that lamp in the BCM configurations.
For the latter you need something like VCDS.

The linked article in the first post of this discussion thread over on the mk10 forum board might be of interest;

Might just try find a couple nice looking halogens then. Dont want to start messing about with resistors and the wiring.

Are either of the links below the right thing? Error free and right size?
Second link definelty covers polo 2017 in the list. First just says polo

I'm only guessing here, but if you buy them you might need to mess about with the wiring so that the car side cabling fits.

Not an impossible job if it needs doing, though making sure that the new connector/joining is water proof would save a lot of bother later on.

Thanks, so even though they dont say for polo they are still going to fit and not cause any errors? as it doesn't say anything about having resistors etc so its expensive at 14 quid each and doesnt seem to have anything to prevent canbus errors
