Soft Pedal after RacingLine Big Brake Kit Change

Hi all,

Changed over to racing line big brake kit. looks great really happy with build quality. Bled the brakes manually using pedal and a bottle no air seemingly coming out anymore on each calliper. Feel like i only have rear brakes however. The pedal travel is now really long and doesn't brake the car at all until right at the end where the rear brakes hold the car.

Any ideas anyone :)

Cheers in advance,

Also worth noting that the pedal when the car is off the pedal goes firm but when car is on the pedal is soft as a plushie...

Sounds like a job/reason to fit a bigger and more compatible master cylinder, I think that others tended to do that when fitting a big brake kit.

Polo 6C GTI already has the biggest brake master cylinder (Ø23,81mm) compatible with Polo, so there's nothing you can do with brake master cylinder at this point.
Before thinking about a bad piston size/MC ratio, I would bleed those new calipers again, while keeping the engine on.
In this way, the brake servo will help you and you'll be able to immediately notice any difference on the brake pedal feel.

If it doesn't work or it doesn't improve much, use a brake pressure bleeder at not less than 2bar of pressure (as indicated on ElsaWin).
