Excuse the double post but I posted under the group buy and now I had a rethink and thought here would be better
My Group buy Grill arrived today

Fast postage - well impressed
Fitted it and I am so not sure about it
I'm sure that it would look better with a black badge in the std grill?
Opinions?
So turned my attention to the but end of the car and de-badged it - well just the polo bit - already done the 1.4CL bit as soon as i bought the car
No I'm absolutely convinced that a black badge is going on the ar*e end

Ahhh nice idea if you've got a 16V but I don't think they do a 8V badge and I'm certainly not badging it up as something it's not - you've got me thinking tho and I like that - anyone know if you can still get the red MKIII GT badges or are they part of the grill...... I'll ask in the MKIII forum
It would be different then.....
And with me split rims - lowered a bit - it'll start to perform (round the corners at least) like a GT

It's all a bit spread out (votes wise) isn't it?
So if I'm in two minds it looks like I'm not wrong or right!!!!

that's not a spread of votes
6 people love or like it
2 aren't sure

LOL -
I assume the one vote for the std grill don't count
Keep Voting chaps (and chappesses) Straw poll of 10 votes out the entire membership doesn't exactly come out as overwhelming
I've ordered a Black front badge for me std grill just in case
One or other will be re-sold on
Mind you I cleaned the car yesterday and gave it a coat of polish - its growing one me ------- slowly!!!!

Keep it!
Its just the start of the modifying. It will look good along with other mods upfront like a 16v bumper.

Don't like the 16V bumper at all - bit gappy IMHO - besides I have to put the rear one on too and chances of finding both undamaged at a breakers in candy white are...... well lets not go there!!!

I think that grill suits darker cars like dragon green and black but not so sure on white cars
I've got one on my dragon green mk4 and love it

one of the best mods ive done

My brother has a late Candy white Vento VR and the grille is colour coded from the factory. Just a thought.
Regarding 16v bumpers, I do like the smoother version with the outer grilles filled available from R&A
