Third brake light stopped working

I tried tinting my third brake light is a tint spray and the light has now stopped working. It’s not the unit that’s broken, well it might be but I tried swapping it out and it still didn’t work. Then I looked at fuse 15 as that controls the lights and fuse is fine.
Any ideas as to what the problem is? Bad wire?
I suspect spray subjected it to really cold temperatures but I’m not entirely sure. Have help would be great
