Rattling from my left rear wheel area

Hi Guys

I was hoping someone might know something or has had this problem before

When I drive over bumps or rough road surfaces, there seems to be a rattling coming from the back left side of the car around the rear wheel, almost sounds like a loose bolt.

However I've checked everything I can think off but I can't seem to pinpoint it.

Any help will be much appreciated

Only a guess, but have you jacked the back up and checked the road springs just in case a short section is breaking/has broken off?

Edit:- other than that, has that car got drum brakes on the rear, if so maybe get the drums off and see if everything is okay inside.

Hi thank you for your response

I've had new springs fitted all round and they seem to be fine no cracks also got discs on the back.

Check the lower bolts of the shock absorbers as well as they are an annoying source of rattling.

Did you also change the top mounting bush? A must when changing shocks.

Hi Po10HEB,

Did you solve your issue? I'm experiencing a similar noise.
