Replacement bonnet for VW Polo 1.6 sport 2008

Hello everyone.
The bonnet on my VW Polo 1.6 sport 2008 5 door hatchback has corroded and I've found a replacement one in the same colour.
2008 VOLKSWAGEN POLO MATCH 5 Door Hatchback 6Q0823031J, 9N3 Bonnet
However the compatibility list states it will fit a 1.2 hatchback but is not compatible with my car.
Should I go ahead and buy it?
