I have recently purchased a 2008 9n3 and it came with two keys but neither of them are electric so I have to unlock and lock the car by using the door lock. Is there any way that I can get an electric fob so that I can be able to just lock and unlock it by just using the fob?

I’m guessing your car is a lower spec car (match)and this is how it came from factory,
you can retro fit remote central locking with and aftermarket kit this would use another dedicated fob .
Another option would be to fit a oem control unit with this function and code it but you would need the correct keys for that unit and can be a bit of a minefield.
