Bluetooth upgrade question

Hi there,

I bought a '63 polo BlueGT today and realised it has no bluetooth for phone calls.
I'm thinking the neatest upgrade would be to purchase a new head unit thing in the center console (sorry, don't know the terminology!) but am wondering if all polos have microphones build in somewhere or not?

Any advice on my options for adding bluetooth handsfree support?

Quick glance on ebay brings this up: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143727992879 ... Track=true
Is it just a case of buying something like this and plugging things in? Or will I need to be hiding a mic somewhere and routing wires?

Apple carplay is a bonus but the main aim is bluetooth calls.

Thanks for all pointers.

Try something like this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284109171076 ... SwdAhggO7j

With integrated microphone in the front panel. I am with the same in my polo, which came without mic. and Bluetooth, and it its working perfect, even the buttons from the steering wheel

Just saw that even the one you linked has a mic - Radio integrated BLUETOOTH hands free module + integrated microphone inside front panel.

Awesome - thanks - was it easy to install yours? Any adapters needed or anything?
