Polo 9n3 overheated

He’ll I’m looking for some help.
Polo 9n3 overheated and blew radiator, all the coolant came out and was recovered and brought back home. I found a hole in the radiator and now replaced the radiator along with fitting a new fan switch and thermostat.
I’ve now noticed that the radiator fan hasn’t been coming and I have checked fuses and bridged pins on the fan switch to check to see if worked but still had nothing. A few questions
1. My car has air con, I’ve noticed it’s only got one radiator fan, is this correct or should it have a duel unit?
2. Does my car have a radiator fan control unit? If so where is it located?
3. Does anyone have a wiring pin out?
I’ve tested the fan end connector with multimeter and I don’t seem to be getting any volts going into the connector to the fan even with bridged radiator fan switch.
Any help please?
