Hi was hooding someone could help me with my passenger side window it doesn’t work. I’ve tired taking my door
Card off and un plugging the motor and taking it off and when I plug it back in it works so I fix it back on and the motor still works and also the window goes up and down then once I’ve put my door card back on it still works. I turn my car on and off a couple of time with it still working however after leaving the car for 10/15 minutes and returning it doesn’t work. I’ve tried this a various times with the same out come I would be very great full of someone could offer me some insite

Has just started happening to our GTi (2 door). The drivers control works fine, but the passenger control is intermittent at best.

It's not throwing up any errors on VAGCom, and the likely culprit I have gleaned is in the rubber boot between the door and the A pillar. Yet to be motivated enough to tacle it. My workshop manual door card removal instructions are for a 4 door, not the GTI.
