Was wondering if any one could help me know why after my cars been left for maybe a week without driving and I turn it on sometimes my coolant light flashes even though it’s at the correct level and when the engine gets some temperature and I restart the car it’s gone??

I have no idea other than many of these coolant reservoirs have needed too be replaced due to the coolant level indicators playing up, what happens if you unplug it, does it still flash at any time?

Some people have reached down and scraped the level sensor with not much success I think, the price of a genuine VW sourced reservoir should be much it seems!
