Hi.
I checked pin 4 in the sensor connector with voltmeter, and after ignition on , there is 12V power on it.
When I pass this power to pin 3 in connector, there is still no brake light.
Now I don't know if car lost connection between sensor pin3 and BCM T73a43 , or BCM gets problem with transfer signal to T73b16? Or problem on connection between BCM and tail lights and third brake light ( it doesn't work as well)???
Very strange, becouse it brake light has stopped working suddenly 🤔🤔

Yes, certainly strange.

We will have to look for external or non-logical causes.

Questions:
- Does your Ibiza have Cruise Control? Works correctly?
- Is it automatic dsg or manual gearbox? If DSG, warns you to press the brake pedal before starting?
- Where the car is regularly parked... in a garage or outdoors? rural area or city?
- Did you make any changes/modifications/repairs in any part of the vehicle recently? Installation or changes with VCDS in codings?

An autoscan would be useful, although you already commented that there are no diagnosed faults.

It would be interesting to measure the voltage at the contact of the T73a/43 cable, you should get less than 2 volts without pressing the brake pedal and about 12 volts +/- 1 if you press the brake pedal.

Thank you Ciclo for response.
Actually this Seat Ibiza is my present for my daughter.
It doesn't have anything. It is a very basic version. It doesn't have anything, even air condition.
It is 1.2 engine with 70ph and manual gearbox.
I have all prepared for adding automatic headlights and rear PDC system, but my plan is make it at the an if this mount.
Only one thing I changed is rear taillights, from standard to led ones.

Car is parked outside in quiet area.

Great! I love that engine, I had it in a 9N3 in the 60ph version.
An atmospheric engine very pleasant to drive around the city and its surroundings ... and more.

🤭 ... and they worked correctly from the first moment you installed them?
Have you tried installing the original taillights to see what happens with the brake lights?
I imagine you would make some changes to the BCM long coding, right?

First time I monted new led taillights 2 weeks ago ,just on day I got them They worked properly for all lights, parking, brake , turning etc. There was only error at dashboard showing burned bulb, but there was not problem .
Then I put original taillights back , becouse the new ones were birthday present for my daughter on 7th January.
When I installed them again on 7th January, brake lights did not work already. I put original taillights back and still was not brake light even on them.

I did not change anything with VCDS, nothing reprogrammed.

The first thing you should have told me is that you changed the original taillights for some LED taillights, since it is very likely that this change of taillights caused the current failure. I am clear that I live on a different planet from the rest, but I did not think it was so different.

I wonder where you got that the fault would be in the brake light switch/sensor...
It would be more reasonable to think that those LED taillights caused the failure.

I do not know which models of LED taillights can be installed on an Ibiza 6J.
Are they original?
Do you have the reference?
Where did you buy them?

According to the diagrams for 6J there are no LED taillights or at least they are not specified as LEDs.
Today, the ETKA online does not work (they will be updating it) we will wait to get an idea of all this.

---

VCDS
- Clear all DTCs, even if there are no faults.
- Step on the brake pedal and check if the brake lights work. (they may even work)
- Then, and without deleting faults, make a new autoscan and post it here. (in English if possible)

PS: don't change/touch the current BCM coding or any other coding.

Hi.
I did not know that change anything, because the brake lights were working, after when I took off the led lights and put standard ones again. That is why I did not mention about it.

The led taillights are genuine Seat parts with OEM nr. 6J4 945 096 M and 6J4 945 0965 M. Both were taken of from front damaged Seat Ibiza 2014 same like my

About sensor brake lights, mechanic told me that it is main reason why no brake lights.

I am surprised why it stopped working, because, as I mentioned there was brake lights , even on led lights and after that on standard bulb light.

I did DTC clear all errors with vcds, but brake light did not work even after it.

Thank you

Hi.
To be honest, it is final update about tail brake light problem .
The issue was between sensor and BCM. There was one wire broken which did not pa's signal to BCM.
The wire got isolated and know all work properly.
Thank you so much Ciclo for help ans I am really sorry Kamil for mixing up yiur treat.

Thanks for your report.👍
That wire does not usually break, perhaps some rodent, mustelid, or similar was  the cause.

It's really simple:

WRM = Window Regulator Motor. (door units managed by BCM)
SW = Software.

- Your WRMs don't have the proper SW.

- Forget the "rain closing" function, and the "automatic folding mirrors" function with remote/key fob.

Your WRMs: (Red = software)

Podsystem 2 - Oznaczenie elementu SW: 6R0 959 801 AK HW: 6R0 959 801 AK Plik etykiet: 6R0-959-801.CLB
Komponent: J386__TSG_FT 007 5110
Numer seryjny: --------------------
Kodowanie: 020000

Podsystem 3 - Oznaczenie elementu SW: 6R0 959 802 AR HW: 6R0 959 802 AR Plik etykiet: 6R0-959-802.CLB
Komponent: J387__TSG_BT 007 5110
Numer seryjny: --------------------
Kodowanie: 020000

The SW must be 8612 or higher.
Hi Cyclo, let me dig out the topic

what is your idea of making windows in the rain / folding mirrors with a remote control?

What motors can I put in to make it work? Since even in the Ibiza 6P, the last windshield motors 6R0959801DT / 802EE SW: 0630?

Yes, I know cyclo that SW min 8612,
Only from the 6R0959801 / 2 Ibiza engines they only have the 5XXX

Any other motors I can use? The new beetle has the SW 9XXX

And what should the motor coding be then for the rain closing and the mirrors to work?

Fuse No. 18 😎

Cyclo, will installing these motors (6R0 959 801 BD / 802 BF + coding (0200A3 / 1000A3) and the old RLS 1K0955559 AH SW: 0403 system close the windows / mirrors?
Is it necessary to change to a new RLS in ibiz 6P from 2015?

Yes, 5K7955559C (RLS) or 5K7955547 (RLHS), either one will do what you're looking for after installing it, code it and perform the correct procedure.
