Can anyone confirm that code LC9A is Pure White and nothing to do with Oryx weiss?

Yes, LC9A is Pure White. I think it may also be used as the base coat for Oryx White which is a three stage painting process (base coat, followed by pearl coat, then clear coat); other colours are two stage (base coat, then clear coat).
The extra stage in the painting process for Oryx White probably explains why it costs more than other paint colours when it was ordered on a new car.

If its tree stage, you can get your primer tinted in that color
