Hi all,
As a relative newcomer to Polo ownership and to the forum I'm hoping for some help on a USB problem.
I've retrofitted a MiB II unit to the glovebox of my '64 plate to provide Apple CarPlay support. All looks good, the menu options now include App-link and CarPlay but connecting an iPhone to the centre console USB connector does not open CarPlay.
I think the USB connector needs to be changed for a more recent one so I'm looking for some some advice on how to remove the old one. Does it just unclip and pull out from above or does the whole console need to be dissembled and the USB port removed from below?
Any help gratefully received

If you're lucky, you can push it from below without disassembling the centre console too much

That’s good to hear, any help on the minimum trim removal required?
