UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi All, I Have recently fit a Noname RCD330 187B into my VW Polo Match Edition and have a couple of issues which i'm hoping someone could help with - i believe the issue to to be caused either by a loose connection or software issue and am wondering if anyone has anyone encountered the same?

I am experiencing a few issues that all seem to happen intermittently:
1. The radio doesn't always turn off and on with the car
2. When the car is put into reverse, the radio only sometimes shows the reverse sensor
3. The steering wheel buttons only sometimes work

I believe it to be likely a loose connection as either all three of the above issues are occurring at the same time or neither of them.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I have removed and reinstalled and no change.

Very late reply but I'm having exactly the same problem. What I've found is that the radio only works fully (all functions perfect) when it is plugged in with the car already running. Did you ever figure out the problem?
