How many miles can I get on reserve?

Hello all. So, because of all the inconsiderate w*nkers losing their heads and deciding to drink up all the fuel, my little Polo’s reserve light came on today. My journey to work is a 25 mile round trip. Will I be able to get there and back tomorrow? Thanks in advance.

You should have 5 litres reserve but hardly enough to give you 50 miles.

That’s ok. 12.5 miles each way, so enough for a 25 mile round trip or to get me to the nearest petrol station. Thanks
