UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi guys,

Nice to meet you all, the forum looks very interesting and full of people who have knowledge about these cars.
We have just bought a 10 plate VW polo, 1.4 Match. (reg is PF10XBW in case it is needed)
1. The stereo, I believe it is RCD310 with Aux In. NO bluetooth. What would I need to do to add bluetooth to it, how easy it is to install and is it a str8 swap ? I have been reading about RCD330. Is it a str8 swap? does it add bluetooth ? A link would be perfect.
2. MFD info - I have been doing my head in, looking for info on how to change the info on the small screen - atm I can only see the mileage, last trip, how much petrol I have in the tank. I have no buttons on the steering wheel and neither on the wiper stalk. Can I find it on eBay ? And if I change it, will the info be displayed or does it require coding ?

1) You should look for a cheap bluetooth adaptor like this one:

2) You cannot replace display only, you'll have to replace all the instrument cluster and add talk with cdb buttoms.
This will mean you'll have to code it.
