Trying to fix the demented passenger (RHD) window electrics.

The service manual shows removing the trim like so - but our GTi doesn't have any recesses in the reverse side of the handle.

Any suggestions what I'm missing?

This trim piece just unclips, lift from the front first then slide towards the front

Watch this on how to remove a door panel, I know it’s not a GTI but I guess it’s very similar

Thanks - I scoured for a video but was focussed on the GTi.
That's the same door handle so I'll give it a go.
